Every licensed amateur, regardless of membership in ARRL or any other local or national organization is eligible to apply for membership in ARES. Because ARES is an Amateur Radio program, only licensed radio amateurs are eligible for membership.
We encourage all Radio Amateurs in the District of Columbia with an interested in emergency communications to get involved with ARES DC.
Training and demonstration of skills will be required for full participation in all ARES DC activities.
